With over 3 years of clinical experience, Indhu P Manoj is a qualified and dedicated Clinical Dietician and Nutritionist, holding a Postgraduate degree in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics. She has extensive hands-on experience in delivering evidence-based Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) across hospital and clinical settings.
Her core areas of specialization include diabetes management, metabolic and lifestyle disorders, therapeutic diet planning, and preventive nutrition care. She has worked closely with patients diagnosed with diabetes, obesity, thyroid disorders, cardiovascular diseases, PCOS, renal conditions, and nutrient deficiencies, providing individualized diet interventions tailored to medical requirements, biochemical parameters, and lifestyle patterns.
Indhu is highly experienced in clinical nutrition assessment, including anthropometric measurements, dietary analysis, biochemical data interpretation, and continuous monitoring of patient progress. She is proficient in initiating and monitoring insulin therapy, including GLP-1 agonists such as Trulicity and Victoza, and in the deployment and interpretation of Flash Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) systems. Her clinical skill set also includes instant HbA1c screening, diabetic retinopathy screening, and diabetic neuropathy screening, enabling comprehensive diabetes care.
She actively collaborates with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, endocrinologists, psychologists, physiotherapists, and wellness professionals, to deliver integrated, patient-centered nutrition care. Her approach emphasizes root-cause correction, sustainable dietary modification, and long-term lifestyle improvement rather than short-term dietary restriction.
In addition to clinical practice, Indhu is deeply committed to nutrition education and patient empowerment. She regularly conducts individual and group counseling sessions on balanced diets, portion control, disease-specific nutrition, and healthy lifestyle practices. She also maintains accurate clinical documentation, prepares progress reports, and ensures continuity of care through structured follow-ups.
